“Education NOW”, sponsored by Town Computer's Community Partnership Program, is an educational awareness program aimed at motivating youth and adults in the minority community to go to college and earn a formal education.

Many people show no interest to education due to a lack of or no motivation.  For this reason, Town Computer’s Community Partnership Program has set aside $10,000 to pilot a program to put the focus back on continued and higher education within the minority community.

Throughout the past few years, the Community Partnership Program has assisted several individuals to return to school. Our strategy consisted of advertising slogans on local radio stations, local newspaper ads, public events, referrals, and scholarships.

The result of this effort has been astonished and we believe that we can accomplish more with the contribution of your leadership in this endeavor.  As our budget is very limited, the success of this program depends on people like you who have direct contact with the community and can easily spread the news and create a motivation directed at encouraging the youth and adults of our community of the importance of education and helping them to take the first step toward a college degree.

How can you help?  By getting involved in spreading the word. Help us to find opportunities to speak in schools, churches or any public event. Volunteer to participate in our public relations committee, contribute your ideas on how to reach more individuals and encourage them to go to school.

Tell your children, neighbors, friends and worshippers that it’s never too late to go to college.
